The National Chiao Tung University Scholarship 2027 is now open for international students aiming to study in Taiwan. This fully funded scholarship provides opportunities for Bachelor’s, Master’s, and Ph.D. degree programs, with admissions currently open for the Spring Semester of 2027.

Open to international students from any country (excluding Taiwan).
Applicants must be in good physical and mental health.
Applicants cannot hold any other scholarship at the same time.
Educational Requirements:
- High school diploma for Bachelor’s programs.
- Bachelor’s degree for Master’s programs.
- Master’s degree for Ph.D. programs.
English language proficiency can be proven with a Medium of Instruction (MOI) certificate if previous education was conducted in English (IELTS is not mandatory).

Highest degree diploma (officially verified).
Academic transcripts.
Two recommendation letters.
Valid passport copy.
Study plan (written in English or Chinese).
English proficiency certificate (MOI or equivalent).
Academic thesis or publications (for Ph.D. applicants).

The NCTU Scholarship provides generous financial support to international students:

For Bachelor’s Students:

Monthly stipend of NT$21,000 (approx. USD 700).

For Master’s Students:

Tuition fee waiver.
Monthly stipend of NT$22,000 (approx. USD 733).
Additional assistantships available through faculty advisors for research work.
