The Cambodia Laos Young Leaders Programme

Before you fill out the application form please take your time to look through the prospectus and application criteria below.  You will be asked to tell us about your work in a civil society organisation, your interest in the Cambodia Laos Young Leaders Programme (CLYLP) and a particular development challenge faced by your community or in your area of work as part of your application. These essays are a crucial part of the recruitment process so take your time and carefully consider them. You will be able to save your progress and come back to your application.  The term civil society organisations (CSO) describes non-governmental (NGO) and not-for-profit organisations. CSOs work in many different areas including social and economic development, human rights, indigenous development, environmental protection, and emergency relief. CSOs include trade unions, community-based organisations, charitable organisations, social enterprises, and community service foundations.The CLYLP programme has been developed to build the capacity young of civil society leaders. While applicants may be employed across several fields, we are particularly interested to hear about your work (voluntary or paid), in CSOs.
