This section outlines our relationship with you. It includes a description of the Service, defines our Agreement, and names your service provider.

Our Service

Our service is an educational platform providing a collaborative and interactive learning environment for students, teachers, citizens, and government officers, with a commitment to user privacy, continuous improvement, and the facilitation of positive educational experiences.

Your Service Provider

Educational Broadcasting Cambodia (EBC) is Cambodia’s first educational outreach institution.

EBC is supported by the Ministry of Posts and Telecommunications (MPTC), the Ministry of Education, Youth and Sports (MoEYS), the Ministry of Economy and Finance (MEF), and the Ministry of Information (MOI), with technical support from the Educational Broadcasting System (EBS) and financial aid from the Ministry of Science and ICT (MSIT) Of the Republic of Korea.

EBC’s vision is to “produce educational content and digital education management systems to contribute to bridging the education gap in Cambodia in line with the current Industrial Revolution 4.0”.

Please read this Agreement carefully and make sure you understand it. If you do not understand the Agreement, or do not accept any part of it, then you may not use the Service.

Who may use the Service?

  • Student Users:

The CMS is intended for use by students who are enrolled in educational institutions, including primary schools, secondary schools, and higher education institutions.

By using this platform, students affirm that they meet any age or eligibility requirements set by their educational institution for accessing online educational resources.

  • Teacher Users:

The CMS extends a warm welcome to teachers and educators actively engaged in the teaching profession.

Teachers are encouraged to utilize the educational resources available on the platform to enhance their teaching methods and curriculum.

By accessing this platform, teachers affirm their commitment to using the content responsibly and in accordance with any applicable laws and educational institution policies.

Teachers have the privilege of leveraging the educational content, including videos, to facilitate learning experiences for their students within the classroom setting.

It is the responsibility of teachers to ensure that their use of the platform aligns with the educational goals and guidelines established by their institution.

The platform recognizes and supports the valuable role teachers play in the educational process and aims to empower them with resources that enhance the overall learning experience for students

  • Citizen Users:

Citizens interested in educational content are encouraged to explore the CMS for informative purposes.

Any citizen, regardless of their educational background, is welcome to access and benefit from the educational resources provided on this platform.

  • Government Officers:

Government officers interested in utilizing the educational content for professional development or related purposes are welcome to access the CMS.

Such users are responsible for ensuring that their use of the platform aligns with any applicable laws, regulations, and policies governing their professional conduct.

  • General Eligibility:

Users of the CMS must comply with all applicable laws and regulations related to online educational resources in their respective jurisdictions.

The platform reserves the right to verify user eligibility and may suspend or terminate accounts that do not meet the specified eligibility criteria.

Permissions and Copyright

  • Respect for Intellectual Property:

Users are expected to respect the intellectual property rights of others.

Unauthorized use, reproduction, or distribution of copyrighted material is strictly prohibited, and users are responsible for obtaining any necessary permissions before sharing or using such content.

  • Attribution and Collaboration:

Users engaging in collaborative projects or sharing educational resources should clearly communicate and agree upon the use of intellectual property.

Proper attribution to the original creators is encouraged when sharing or utilizing content created by others.

  • Platform-Provided Content:

Content provided by the platform, including educational materials, graphics, and features, is the property of EBC or its licensors.

Users may access and use such content for personal, non-commercial purposes within the platform; however, downloading, modifying, distributing, or reproducing it for any other purpose is strictly prohibited without explicit permission.

  • Content Not for Downloading:

Users are expressly prohibited from downloading, storing, or otherwise retaining copies of platform-provided content outside the confines of the CMS.

This restriction is in place to protect the intellectual property rights of EBC and other users.

  • Reporting Copyright Violations:

EBC respects the intellectual property rights of others and prohibits the posting of content that violates copyright laws.

  • Notification of Copyright Claims:

EBC will respond to valid copyright claims in accordance with applicable laws, including the removal or disabling of access to the allegedly infringing content.

  • Educational Use Exemptions:

EBC acknowledges that educational use may involve the sharing and use of copyrighted material within the bounds of fair use or other exemptions permitted by copyright law.
