With 23 years of experience in grassroots peace education, Youth For Peace (YFP) has inspired and empowered increasing numbers of young people to take action and work for peace, justice, and reconciliation in Cambodia. YFP places great emphasis on the creativity, ownership, and self-initiative of its participants. By fostering these qualities, YFP actively engages young people and key stakeholders in developing peaceful solutions to social conflicts and encourages participation in sustainable social development. This approach nurtures a culture of peace and democracy throughout Cambodian society. Utilizing creative approaches and participatory methodologies, YFP conducts peacebuilding activities at its office facility, in urban and rural high schools, and within communities across several provinces in Cambodia. Through these efforts, YFP continues to build a foundation for lasting peace, empowering youth to become leaders and advocates for positive change.
