Training Workshop: “Understanding Impact Investment”

✨ GSG Cambodia is the National Partner for impact investment, which aims mobilize capital for positive social and environmental impact and advancing Cambodia’s impact investing ecosystem.

✨ To kick off this journey, Khmer Enterprise, in collaboration with GSG Cambodia, will host the very first session on “Understanding Impact Investment”. 

💡 This foundational session will provide an introduction to Impact Investing 101, covering key principles and practical approaches to creating measurable social and environmental impact alongside financial returns.

Objectives:

• Introduce the core concepts and principles of impact investment
• Provide an understanding of social and environmental impact within Cambodia’s development context
• Distinguish between philanthropy, corporate social responsibility (CSR), and impact investment
• Familiarize participants with key stakeholders and practices in the impact investment ecosystem
• Encourage entrepreneurs and SMEs to explore opportunities to generate measurable impact alongside financial returns
